Monsey enjoyed an unforgettable Lag BaOmer celebration in Viola Park, drawing over 1,000 people from across the community spectrum for a day of festivities, including acrobatic performances, a marching band, clowns, moonbounces, interactive carnival booths, treats and prizes for children, and inspiring pesukim.
An unforgettable Lag BaOmer Celebration drew a crowd of over 1,000 people to the Manny Welder, Viola Park in Monsey, NY. The vibrant event brought together diverse groups from various Jewish communities, including Lubavitch, Chassidish, Litvish, and more.
The festivities featured an array of exciting activities, including acrobatic performances, a marching band, clowns, moonbounces, interactive carnival booths, treats and prizes for children, and inspiring pesukim.
Special mention goes to Rabbi Yisroel Silverstein, the MC for the event, and his beloved puppet Shleikis, who added to the joyous atmosphere.
The event was a resounding success, creating cherished memories for all who attended. Organizers reported that the celebration culminated in a truly unforgettable experience. Miraculously, the skies cleared of rain and the sun shone brightly, serving as a powerful reminder of the Rebbe’s and Rashbi’s palpable presence among us.
