In time for the upcoming Yomim Tovim, the Shluchim Office announces a dedicated Chazzan Placement track on the newly revamped Shluchim Placement platform.

The platform gives both Shluchim and Chazzanim one central place to connect for Tishrei. Shluchim can post available positions, while Chazzanim can create profiles and explore opportunities that match their experience and availability.

The beloved Shluchim Placement program was revamped this past year, with new updates and features designed to connect Shluchim with potential staff and help those seeking Shlichus opportunities find the right position.

Shluchim Placement was one of the first programs established by the Shluchim Office in 5749. The program matches those seeking Shlichus opportunities with Shluchim looking for staff.

After putting in an application and getting administrative approval, Shluchim can view Chazzan profiles, while Chazzanim can access open positions and use customized filters to find the right fit.

“In addition to the existing options for couples, Bochurim and girls, Chazzan Placement is an important tool for both Shluchim and Chazzanim this time of year,” shared Director of Development Rabbi Mendy Shemtov. “With a simple, user-friendly system, connecting the right people has never been easier.”

ShluchimPlacement.org includes four categories: Girls, Bochurim, Chazzanim and Couples. Each category has its own track, with unique application questions and filters specific to that group.

Shluchim seeking a Chazzan for Tishrei and Chazzanim looking for an opportunity are encouraged to register at ShluchimPlacement.org.
