Classmates, teachers and mothers of the Nigri International Shluchim Online School joined together for their annual reunion, a once a year event where they get to see each other in person and connect.

Every year, the students of the virtual school of the Shluchim Office eagerly await the annual Day of Celebration where they get to meet and spend a day with their classmates and teachers. Many of the students and teachers traveled great distances to join, even from international destinations far away.

The program began at the Jewish Children’s Museum with the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s Kapitel recited by eighth graders Hinda Rivkin and Chana Perlman and inspirational words from director Morah Devora Leah Weiss. Each class presented a song or skit that they had excitedly prepared for weeks together with costumes and featuring songs about Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.

The eighth grade girls performed a fun grammen in appreciation of the teachers and the PTA presented a video and song to the teachers as well. Before the program ended, the students were surprised with Kangoo boot jumping and had the best time jumping and dancing together. The mothers were treated to chocolates gifted by their daughters and an elaborate dessert bar down the block at the Shluchim Office lounge.

Both parents and students shared joyful thanks for the outstanding Chinuch and special friendship opportunities the school provides every day.

The program was led by director Morah Devora Leah Weiss and Bnos Chabad coordinators, Rivka Levitin and Mushkale Kesselman. Special thanks to the dedicated team of staff including Altie KaminetzkySorale Vogel and Morah Sheina Hertz for making the event such a great success.

The Nigri International Shluchim Online School is a division of the Shluchim Office under Rabbi Gedalya & Bassie Shemtov.
