Shluchim Group Expands in Memory of Rabbi Pini Hazan

Marking the shloshim of R’ Pini Hazan AH, who devoted himself to supporting the needs of Shluchim around the world, The Shluchim Group is expanding its growing program to ensure that Shluchim receive financial assistance in the event of a tragedy RL.

The Shluchim Office marks the Shloshim of Rabbi Pini Hazan AH, a dedicated member of their team who faithfully supported the needs of the Shluchim worldwide. In his memory, the Shluchim Group, a project of the Shluchim Office, is being expanded to strengthen support for fellow Shluchim.

The Shluchim Group was established to provide immediate financial assistance to families of Shluchim facing the sudden and tragic loss of a parent. The goal is simple and urgent: to ensure no family has to face such a moment alone.

“Hundreds of Shluchim have already joined the group since it launched a few years ago,” said Rabbi Mendy Shemtov, Director of Development at the Shluchim Office. “We’re now working to expand it further, to benefit even more Shluchim and Shluchos.”

Members of the group commit to contribute a minimum of $72 in the event of the passing of another member. There are no monthly fees or administrative hurdles, just direct, meaningful support at a family’s most vulnerable moment.

This project is being expanded in memory of הת’ אלקנה פנחס ע”ה בן יבדלחט”א הרב יצחק נחום שליט”א חזן, a devoted member of the Shluchim Office who faithfully supported the needs of the Shluchim.

Shluchim are encouraged to join and to invite others to join this growing circle of mutual support.
