Shluchim From 30 Yeshivos Prepare With Kinus

Days before heading out to Yeshiva, Talmidim Hashluchim from 30 Yeshivas gathered at F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach, for the annual Kinus Talmidim Hashluchim to be prepared and inspired for their great undertaking.

Days before heading out to Yeshiva, Talmidim Hashluchim from 30 Yeshivas around the world gathered together at F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach, for the annual Kinus Talmidim Hashluchim organized by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim to be well prepared and inspired for their great undertaking.

Upon exiting the buses the Talmidim Hashluchum were welcomed with light refreshments.

After settling down, the Bochurim first heard from Rabbi Berel Levin, Chief Librarian of the Central Chabad Library, who spoke about the importance of learning Gemara in the manner prescribed by the Alter Rebbe, with a focus on knowing the practical halacha.

Following a break for Mincha, Levi Katz gave the Shluchim an overview of all the upcoming exciting programs arranged by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim for the year.

The program continued with five veteran Talmidim Hashluchim who shared their experiences on Shlichus and how to make it a success, 5 ideas, each for 5 minutes which was followed by and group photo and a sumptuous dinner.

Mendel Deitch, who was a Shliach in Bronoy discussed how to work together as a single unit to make your Shlichus a success. Avremel Silberberg, who was a Shliach in Tzfas, discussed the idea of encouraging Bochurim to join mivtzas and being there for all their needs.

Levi Shemtov, who was a Shliach in Chicago, spoke about investing yourself in your Shlichus and making it personal. Meir Lazaroff who was a Shliach in Coral Springs discussed how to stay focused on your Shlichus without being distracted by the different obstacles that can come up.

Finally, Moshe Zalman Vorovitch discussed working together with the Bochurim on their own level to have the biggest impact.

At dinner, Rabbi Yosef Klyne, Mashpia in Yeshivah Lubavitch of Nyack, spoke about the power a shliach can have on his Bochurim and always being a dugme chaya and lead the way for the young Bochurim – the future of Lubavitch.

After bentching, the Talmidim Hashluchim received as a memento, a new Sefer on Hilchos Shabbos by Rabbi Levin along with a special Kovetz about Yud Alef Nissan – 120 years.
