Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Kenig, shliach to Moshav Hoshaya in northern Eretz Yisroel and author of a sefer on pesukim for one’s name, passed away on Friday, 16 Shvat, after battling a severe illness.

Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Kenig, shliach to Moshav Hoshaya in northern Eretz Yisroel and author of a sefer on pesukim for one’s name, passed away on Friday, 16 Shvat, after battling a severe illness.
He was 49 years old.
Rabbi Kenig was the son of the mashpia Rabbi Elazar Mordechai Kenig AH of Nof HaGalil, and was known for his warmth, kindness, and dedication to helping others. He brought many closer to Torah and mitzvos, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
Rabbi Kenig was also the author of the sefer “Pesok Li Pesukeich,” a comprehensive compilation on the possuk for one’s name at the end of shemone esrei.
For many years, he managed the seforim store at the central shul in Nof HaGalil through which he influenced many. He also served as a gabbai of the shul, dedicating himself to the needs of the community.
Rabbi Kenig is survived by his wife and children.
His funeral took place on Friday at the cemetery in Moshav Hoshaya, where he was laid to rest.
