In honor of the wedding of Benzion and Miri Duchman, a special teshura was printed, featuring a curated selection from Colel Chabad’s archives. These include hundreds of letters, documents, and clippings that reflect the Rebbe’s deep involvement in promoting in-person fundraising gatherings.

Just two days before Rabbi Sholom Duchman’s wedding, the Rebbe called him into a yechidus with a clear message. It was time to expand (להרחיב) Colel Chabad’s fundraising efforts. The Rebbe emphasized in particular one specific avenue – hosting in-person fundraising gatherings.
The Rebbe explained that inviting people to attend these events gave them a deeper way to connect. Their involvement would go beyond financial support. By showing up, they were also giving their time and attention to the cause.
From that moment forward, Rabbi Duchman kept the Rebbe updated about every single event. The Colel Chabad archives now hold hundreds of letters, documents, and clippings that reflect the Rebbe’s deep involvement in these efforts. The records cover decades, from the very first Colel Chabad gathering in 5738 (1978) until a letter the Rebbe sent to attendees in 5752.
To mark the wedding of Benzion and Miri Duchman, a curated selection of these materials was published. Each page carries the Rebbe’s guidance – whether in handwritten notes, instructions scribbled in the margins, or brachos given repeatedly.
Every detail reflects the care and urgency the Rebbe invested in encouraging these events and the people behind them.
