A popular weekly Gemara shiur organized by The New Beis Medrash has moved to a new location, giving yungelait in Crown Heights an opportunity to set aside time from their busy schedules and come together once a week for Torah learning.
The shiur takes place every Wednesday night and is delivered by popular maggid shiur Rabbi Peretz Kaplan of Oholei Torah. It draws a large crowd of Crown Heights Anash, including businessmen, teachers, and those involved in chinuch.
The shiur has now moved to Agudah Shul, Tzirei Anash, at 456 Crown Street. It takes place every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:15 p.m.
The shiur is held in memory of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak AH, ben yblc”t Reb Chaim Tzvi Woslow.
The New Beis Medrash is a young and vibrant Anash community initiative that brings together members of 12 Crown Heights shuls for regular shiurim, farbrengens, and community programming.
