Following the tragic passing of Hatomim Menachem Mendel Bluming in Suffield, CT, his friends and family are undertaking the writing of a special Torah to be used in the Yeshiva he cherished.
When HaTamim Menachem Mendel Bluming ע”ה started off Yeshiva Ketana in Elul 5783, he steadily broadened his knowledge and deepened his understanding in Gemara, Halacha, and Chassidus. His learning was always infused with simcha, yegiah, and a heartfelt sense of Avodas Hashem, reflecting the values he absorbed from our Rabbeim and deeply rooted in the spirit of Tomchei Temimim.
Mendel immersed himself fully in the life of yeshiva, seizing every opportunity to grow in his learning. He took everything to heart, with a special passion for recording all the shiurim—both in Nigleh and Chassidus—inscribing them not only on paper but deeply into his heart as well. Mendel was always up early, beginning his learning even before seder, with vitality and warmth.
Following his tragic passing, his friends, maggidei shiur, mashpi’im, hanhalah, and family have joined together to write the very first Sefer Torah dedicated l’iluy nishmas התמים מנחם מענדל ע״ה בן יבלט״א ר גדליהו שיחי׳.
They have undertaken to write a highly mehudar Sefer Torah, in the K’sav of the Alter Rebbe, to be used throughout the year, during weekdays, Shabbosim, and Yomim Tovim.
