Rabbi Shneur and Esther Wolfman will be moving on shlichus to establish Chabad of Moon Valley & Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ.

The greater Moon Valley area is home to 2,800 Jews. Nestled between mountains and golf courses, the Moon Valley neighborhood consistently ranks as one of the best places to raise a family in Phoenix. Previously Jewish residents would have to travel a distance to attend Shul and be a part of a community. With the opening of Chabad of Moon Valley, the locals will have a community of their own where they can connect and celebrate Yiddishkeit.

With the rapid growth of Grand Canyon University and its large Jewish student population, Jewish students and their parents have been requesting Chabad programming for the campus. The Wolfmans will be providing a supportive community for the GCU students, hosting Shabbos dinners, social events and learning opportunities.

The Wolfman’s were appointed by Rabbi Zalman Levertov, Head Shliach of Arizona.
