Artist Sheina Dorn left her mark on another corner of Crown Heights, brightening the front of Wine by the Case with a festive mural.

Sheina was visiting Crown Heights when she spontaneously decided to paint a mural to brighten another corner of the neighborhood. After a few hours, Wine by the Case on Empire Blvd is now adorned with festive artwork featuring two bottles of wine pouring a L’Chaim to each other in a celebration of life.

Sheina’s cousin, Shimon Liberow, otherwise known as Mr. Fix It, came up with the idea. “I met my cousin and we were discussing the idea of doing something to brighten up the neighborhood,” he told Anash.org. “I was outside Nosson’s Shul on Empire and I just looked up and saw how gate to the store Wine by the Case was dark and covered with graffiti.

“I made a call or two to the owner and he agreed. I bought a ton of paint and the rest is history.”
