Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu marked Gimmel Tammuz with a powerful post about the Rebbbe across his official X (Twitter) and Instagram accounts, reaching over 5 million followers. He also shared the full 8-minute weekly JEM video of the Rebbe titled “Peace Through Strength – The Rebbe’s Advice and Guidance to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”
Alongside the video, Netanyahu reflected on the deep and lasting impact of the Rebbe’s words to him when he first ran for Knesset: “Though the Rebbe has not been with us physically for 31 years,
his lofty spirit is more present than ever,” he wrote.
He also highlighted the Rebbe’s unyielding position on Shleimus HaAretz: “Now, with the conclusion of Operation ‘Rising Lion,’ the Rebbe’s firm stance on security matters is once again validated.”
A Shliach involved in getting the Rebbe’s video posted by the Prime Minister shared:
“I can share just a glimpse of the effort it took to make this happen – getting approval for a campaign like this, securing time for the Prime Minister and his team to carefully watch the full video, reviewing every detail, and then adapting the content to meet the strict standards of the broadcasting platforms…
“But once everyone saw the clarity and passion of the message – that the Rebbe and his words must reach millions – they joined the effort, and together, it became a reality.”
“Today,” he concluded, “millions of Jews saw the Rebbe, absorbed his message, and connected with the Nasi HaDor.”
The full post of Bibi Netanyahu:
Today, on Gimmel Tammuz, I am reminded of the towering figure of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who served for decades as the seventh leader of the Chabad movement.
During the years I represented the State of Israel in various diplomatic roles in the United States, I had the privilege of meeting the Rebbe face to face.
His penetrating, wise gaze has never left my memory.
He spoke deliberately, yet every word that came from his mouth proved over time to be absolute truth.
When the Rebbe heard about my plans to run for Knesset, he gave me his blessing:
“You will have to struggle against 119 people.
But that shouldn’t faze you, because G-d is on this side.
Blessing and success—a gift from G-d—blessing and success.”
Though the Rebbe has not been with us physically for 31 years,
his lofty spirit is more present than ever.
The global network of Shluchim continues to grow.
Chabad Houses are open wide across every continent and country, welcoming every Jew.
The fire of Ahavas Yisrael burns strongly in the hearts of all those connected to this remarkable Chassidus.
Now, with the conclusion of Operation “Rising Lion,” the Rebbe’s firm stance on security matters is once again validated.
The Rebbe advocated for a resolute stand against our enemies,
for pushing back those who rise to destroy us,
and for fiercely defending our right to take root in every part of Eretz Yisrael.
May the flame of emunah and Jewish pride bound to the Rebbe’s legacy continue, with G-d’s help, to spread tremendous light for generations to come.
