Mrs. Tzipra (Edith) Schaffran, a longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Tuesday, 7 Teves, 5781.
Mrs. Schaffran was a preschool teacher in Klausenberg, and also worked in the Crown Heights Community Council, and F.R.E.E.
She was 72 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband R’ Bentzion Schaffran a”h who passes away in 1996.
She survived by her children Mrs. Hindy Zirkind – Montreal, Shimmy Schaffran – Crown Heights, and Ezzie Schaffran – Five Towns, and grandchildren.
The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 12 pm, passing by 770 at 1 pm. Burial at Montefiore Cemetery at 2 pm.
