Morristown Bochurim Surprise Menahel at Award Ceremony
During an awards ceremony recognizing the talmidim’s accomplishments, bochurim of Tomchei Temimim Morristown turned the tables, presenting their menahel, Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, with a complete Hebrew ArtScroll Shas in appreciation for his dedication and devotion to the bochurim.
A special Chag Hasiyum was held on Tuesday at Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva Morristown, celebrating the accomplishments of the bochurim in this year’s Mivtza Torah program.
The event marked the completion of Mivtza Torah, led by the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Sholom Spalter, and included the distribution of awards to bochurim who excelled in the Halacha B’Iyun track under the guidance of the legendary maggid shiur Rabbi Aharon Dovid Gancz.
The entire program was held under the auspices of Rabbi Mendy Herson, dean of the yeshiva and head shliach of New Jersey.
Special recognition was also given to the bochurim who dedicated themselves to running the yeshiva’s Mivtzoim Office and the Maareches Haaros. As a token of appreciation for their hard work and commitment throughout the year, they received special gifts.
A surprise came when the bochurim presented a gift to the menahel, Rabbi Chaim Schapiro – a complete large Hebrew edition of the ArtScroll Shas – in appreciation for his tireless dedication and all that he does for the yeshiva.
