In honor of Chof Beis Shvat, students at Cheder Chabad Monsey heard personal memories of the Rebbetzin from Rabbi Shamshi Junik, who served as a mashba”k in the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s home for many years.

Rabbi Junik shared historic anecdotes going back to the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbe’s mother, Rebbetzin Chanah, as well as personal memories that were laced with life lessons that the Cheder talmidim could apply to their lives.

“The boys sat with Derech Eretz and poise, listening intently to the memories that were framed in a deeply chassidishe wad and gave a real insight into the Rebbe’s daled amos,” the Cheder teachers said.
