On Motzei Shabbos, 28th December, the event took place at Halfway House, featuring fireworks, live music, doughnuts, and a prize for every child. The lively celebration created a warm and festive atmosphere for all attendees.
The following evening, on Sunday, 29th December, a grand Menorah lighting was held at Manchester City Centre in the presence of the Lord Mayor and the Chief Executive of the Representative Council, chaired by Rabbi Avrohom Jaffe. Highlights included Rabbi Dov Ber Klyne leading the 12 Pesukim with children and a captivating performance by Michoel Sholom. Once again, doughnuts and prizes for children added sweetness and excitement to the occasion.
These memorable events underscored the message of Chanukah—spreading light and unity within the community.
