Bochurim with Mitzvah Tank NYC took to mivtzoim on Broadway and in Times Square, near the world’s largest menorah. During the day, they helped fellow Yidden put on Tefillin, and as night fell, they focused solely on lighting the menorah and sharing the warmth and joy of Chanukah.
In one of their encounters, the Bochurim lit the Menorah together with a soldier who had lost his leg in battle, whose story was quite famous in Israel, they said.
This was followed by joyous dancing and live vocals to liven the streets of Manhattan.
