In a remarkable display of hasmada and passion for Limud HaTorah, 22 bochurim from Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad (YOEC) in Los Angeles were tested by the city’s rabbonim on the entire Maseches Bava Kamma Baal Peh.

This incredible feat has been reached after hundreds of hours over the course of a full year of unwavering focus, daily consistency, and tremendous Chayus in limud hatorah.

The rabbonim were extremely impressed by the incredible yediah the bochurim had in the masechta, answering almost instantaneously deep havana shaalos, questions covering numerous daf, and mekoros for words in the masechta to the daf!

The bochurim were tested by the following rabbonim hachashuvim (in order of seating, right to left):

Harav Yochanan Henig shlita – Mara D’asra of the Chasidishe Kollel of Los Angeles

Harav Ezra Binyomin Shochet shlita – the Rosh HaYeshiva

Harav Avrohom Shochet shlita – Maggid Shiur in the Yeshiva

Harav Yisroel Noach Raichik shlita – Rov of the Lubavitch community of Los Angeles

Harav Chaim Zev Citron shlita – Maggid Shiur in the Yeshiva
