L’man Achai Brings Summer Energy to Crown Heights

The spirit and energy of summer at Camp L’man Achai came alive in Crown Heights on Chol Hamoed Sukkos, as the camp hosted its highly anticipated annual Sukkos Reunion. Campers traveled in from across the New York tri-state area and New Jersey to reconnect with cherished counselors and friends.

The action-packed afternoon kicked off at Lefferts Park. Campers and staff hit the field for a high-energy game of soccer, sports activities, and plenty of quality time catching up. From there, the group headed to the Oholei Torah pool for an invigorating private pool party, bringing back memories of hot summer days at camp.

Following the swim, campers gathered in front of 770 for a memorable group photo before heading to the Sukkah of Sruly Berkowitz. Together, everyone fulfilled the Mitzvah of shaking the Lulav and Esrog before diving into a grand Sukkah barbecue. The Sukkah was filled with warmth, joyous dancing, and camaraderie. Attendees settled in to watch inspiring camp video footage, looking back at the unforgettable highlights of the past summer season.

To cap off the unforgettable day, the camp group marched over to Kingston Avenue to join the vibrant Simchas Beis Hashoeva street dancing. Campers and staff danced side-by-side in the street, celebrating Sukkos with the classic L’man Achai enthusiasm.

Summer 2027 Registration Is Now Open!

While the Sukkos reunion brought back the best of summer memories, Camp L’man Achai is already looking ahead to next year. Registration for Summer 2027 is officially in full swing! Parents are encouraged to secure their child’s spot early to guarantee a summer filled with top-tier fun, inspiration, and warm Chassidish warmth.
