Live: Evening of Torah and Inspiration for Mother in Need

Live at 9:15 PM ET: The Kollels of Merkos 302 are hosting an evening of Torah and inspiration dedicated to the zchus and complete recovery of Mrs. Chaya Miriam bas Rochel Leah Katz, a beloved mother and teacher who is urgently in need of a kidney transplant.

This Sunday night, Pesach Sheini at 9:15 PM ET, the four Kollels of Merkos 302 are hosting an evening of Torah and inspiration dedicated to the zchus and complete recovery of Chaya Miriam bas Rochel Leah Katz, a beloved mother and teacher who is urgently in need of a kidney transplant.

The event will feature Rabbi Avraham Katz, a member of the Kollel and mashpia at Yeshiva Gedolah of Postville, who will speak about Asher Yatzar – a unique yet often overlooked bracha – highlighting the daily miracle of the human body and our constant dependence on Hashem.

Rabbi Yeshua Sturm, Director of Outreach at Renewal, will give a clear overview of how kidney donation works, what’s involved from a halachic and medical standpoint, and how Renewal supports potential donors through every step of the process.

The event will take place on Zoom and is open to all.
