Levaya Held for Rabbi Michoel Namdar

The levaya of Rabbi Michoel Namdar, who helped Iranian Jews escape persecution as a Shliach in Italy, and more recently lived in Crown Heights, passed 770 on Thursday with a large crowd attending.

He is survived by his wife Perel (nee Altein) and their children Menachem Namdar – Crown Heights; Levy Namdar – Crown Heights; Chanie Mockin – Montreal, Canada; Toba Leah Golomb – Crown Heights; Devora Rivkah Namdar; and Daniel Namdar.

He is also survived by his mother Mrs. Malka Namdar, and siblings Yisroel Namdar – Milan; Rachel Vardi – Tel Aviv; Batsheva Chamami – Rechovot; Shmuel Namdar – Long Island; and Rabbi Alexander Namdar– Gothenburg, Sweden.

Shiva will be at 1408 Union St.
