Last Year Rabbi Schlanger Came, This Year They Carried On
A Sukkah Mobile dedicated to the memory of Rabbi Eli Schlanger HY”D and the Bondi Beach kedoshim brought Sukkos to hundreds across Sydney, including many who recalled Rabbi Schlanger personally visiting them with a lulav and esrog last year.
This Sukkos, Mivtzoim Sydney built a beautiful Sukkah Mobile to bring the Mitzvos of Sukkos to Yidden across Sydney.
This year’s Sukkah Mobile was extra special as it was dedicated in memory of Rabbi Eli Schlanger HY”D and all the Kedoshim HY”D of the Bondi Beach terror attack. It was deeply moving to hear from so many people who came on board that in previous years, it was Rabbi Eli Schlanger himself who would visit them to help them shake Lulav and Esrog.
Boruch Hashem, every day of Chol Hamoed from morning till night, bochurim were out on the streets of Sydney bringing the joy of Sukkos to Yidden and helping people fulfil the mitzvos of Sukkos by shaking the Lulav and making a Leishev B’Sukkah in the Sukkah mobile. Over the course of the week, the Bochurim helped an astonishing 428 people shake the Lulav!
We extend a Huge thank you to all the supporters who made this happen and to the following Bochurim who helped arrange it and participated in Mivtzoim: Zevi Litzman, Dovi Litzman, Jared Lake, Alon Eldar, Michi Abrahams, Eli Abrahams, Tzvi Moss, Mendy Zaitz, Aron Sufrin, & Benjy Shwartz.
