On Pesach Sheini, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Rav of the Kosel, visited the Kerem Menachem schools in Nice, where he met with the over 300 students and staff, and expressed profound admiration for their Torah knowledge, and spoke about the connection between the Torah, the Kosel, and Jewish continuity.
On a particularly meaningful and uplifting day – Pesach Sheini, a day that reminds us that no Jew is ever too far – the students of Chabad institutions in Nice, led by the Kerem Menachem school, were privileged to host a special visitor: Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Rav of the Kosel and holy sites.
Around 300 students, together with the educational staff and the city’s head shliach, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Pinson, welcomed the distinguished guest with a heartfelt and emotional reception. Niggunim, divrei Torah, and warm brachos filled the air, and Rabbi Rabinowitz did not hide his deep emotion at the occasion.
He was profoundly impressed by the students’ level of Torah knowledge, the warmth and spirit of the educational environment, and the clear sense of shlichus that permeates every corner of the institutions. In his remarks, he emphasized:
“The Torah you are learning – this is what connects us to the Kosel, to the Beis HaMikdash, and to the eternal chain of generations of the Jewish people. You have an incredible privilege to grow up surrounded by tradition, ahavas Yisroel, and an awareness of your mission.”
Rabbi Pinson offered a bracha to the guest, saying:
“On this day, when we remember that it is never too late to return and come closer, we were privileged to welcome the Rav of the Kosel, and to be strengthened in the Rebbe’s powerful message: It is always possible to add light, to do another good deed, to add one more stone in the building of the Beis HaMikdash.”
The visit concluded with a moving tefilla for the peace of the Jewish people and Eretz Yisroel, leaving hearts filled with inspiration, Jewish pride, and a renewed sense of purpose.
