Over 30 teens from the Lubavitch Boys Minyan of Manchester gathered in Llandudno, Wales, over Shabbos Yud Shevat for a Shabbaton led by Rabbi Levi Wineberg and Mr. Max Cohen for a weekend of spiritual growth, camaraderie, and adventure.
The Lubavitch Boys Minyan of Manchester organized an inspiring Shabbaton in Llandudno, Wales, over the weekend of Yud Shevat, bringing together over 30 boys for a weekend of spiritual growth, camaraderie, and adventure.
Led by Rabbi Levi Wineberg, with the dedicated assistance of Zalman Coleman, the Boys Minyan meets weekly at Lubavitch House, providing boys aged 13-18 the opportunity to lead davening and leining in a warm and supportive environment.
During the Shabbaton, the boys deepened their understanding of the significance of Yud Shevat, reflecting on the Rebbe’s teachings and their personal connection to Lubavitch. The Shabbos meals were filled with inspiring divrei Torah, spirited singing, and delicious food, creating an uplifting and electrifying atmosphere.
Beyond the spiritual enrichment, the boys also enjoyed exploring Llandudno, taking in the scenic beachfront, playing football, and even climbing the Great Orme, adding a sense of adventure to the experience.
The Shabbaton was led by Mr. Max and Leah Cohen, whose ongoing dedication and support play a vital role in the Boys Minyan throughout the year. They were joined by Rabbi Levi and Rifka Wineberg, ensuring a meaningful and memorable experience for all participants.
