Meir, who was known as a bochur who dedicated his life to the Rebbe’s inyonim, was spending the year on shlichus in Mason, Ohio, helping the shliach out with CTeen programs. He would travel every day to the Cincinnati Yeshiva to spend time learning Torah.
On Monday, he was involved in a car accident, and tragically he lost his life.
The levaya on Wednesday started by the Toronto Chabad Yeshiva, with the entire student body and faculty coming out. It then continued to JNY, which is currently located at the B’nei Torah shul, where speakers addressed the crowd.
The kevura took place at the Pardes Shalom Cemetery in Toronto.
