Former US Ambassador to Israel, Mr. David Friedman, was honored with lighting the Menorah in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

“It was an uplifting experience for the entire Jewish community of Fort Lauderdale,” local shluchim told Anash.org.

In his introductory words, Rabbi Moishe Meir Lipszyc, head shliach and executive director of Chabad Lubavitch of Fort Lauderdale, remarked how especially heartwarming it was to see so many friends, many of whom we have not seen over the past two difficult years, come to the event to join us in celebrating this joyous holiday. He added, this was in great part due to our special guest, Mr. David Friedman.

Organizers thanked Rabbi Bentzion and Chaya Singer, shluchim to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea for hosting and sponsoring the Menorah Lighting event.
