Florida Shliach Travels to the Ohel to Close on New Property

Shliach Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz of Southwest Florida recently purchased a new property adjacent to their current Chabad House to allow them to expand their activities. He held the closing at the Rebbe’s Ohel, traveling to New York specially for the occasion.

Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida, under the leadership of Shliach Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, together with their supporters, purchased a 1.54 Acre property adjacent to their current Chabad campus spanning 3.5 acres.

Rabbi Minkowitz held the closing for the property at the Rebbe’s Ohel, traveling to New York specially for the occasion.

Currently, the campus boasts a preschool building, a beautiful mikvah and a brand new 10,000 sq. foot Chabad Center that is home to their shul, library, social hall, kitchen and Maimonides Hebrew Day School.

The new property will give them the ability to expand their activities for their community. It will also open their entire campus to the nicest and most prestigious street in the city, Mcgregor Boulevard, which is adorned with beautiful tall palm trees.

The new property will allow the opportunity for more families to live near the Chabad and be able to walk to shul on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
