Flames engulfed the shul and the magnificent hospitality center adjacent to the holy resting place of the Alter Rebbe on the last Shabbos night—just one day after Tishah B’Av—leaving nothing behind.

The entire holy complex was consumed by fire, leaving nothing but dust and ashes.

The staggering damage is estimated in the millions of dollars. The complex has been left in ruins.

Yet, “Neither the waters nor the fire could destroy us.” As the Rebbe taught us, we rise from the dust, from the heart of this great fire, and gather our strength to rebuild the complex that was entirely lost to the flames—with even greater beauty and grandeur.

“Through fire, You will rebuild it.” Now is the time to come together. With your support, we will gather the pieces and restore the ruined complex.
