This Sunday, Cheder Ohr Menachem’s Pre1Alef kinderlach joyfully marked their Chagigas Siddur, receiving their very first siddurim, davening near the Rebbe’s heilige room, and celebrating with song and dance before joining their parents for a heartfelt Siddur Party.

This Sunday, Cheder Ohr Menachem celebrated their Pre1Alef Chagigas SiddurSiddur Party! Yes, the day all Pre1Alef kinderlach were waiting for, finally arrived!

Starting the festivities with receiving their first siddur, and davening their first tefilla near the Rebbe’s heilige room and with their royal crowns dancing with chassidim in shul (as customary by chassidim following yechidus)

Following months of hard work and weeks of excitement building up, they now march to see their parents in the Eshel Hall. Greeting the parents was Rabbi Zalman Goldstein who masterfully emceed the entire Mesibas Siddur event.

Led by their dedicated mechanech Rabbi Menachem Nemirovski, the kinderlach made their official entrance, and sang two heartfelt songs expressing their appreciation, zechus and excitement that they can now connect to Hashem with this siddur, and learn His Heilige Torah!

Next, the menahel Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz thanked the dedicated melamdim and ozrim on behalf of all: They have been studying kriah over the year with their melamed Rabbi Menachem Nemirovski alongside R’ Levi Nemirovski and Reb Pinchos Zirkind, and their afternoon Rebbe, veteran mechanech Rabbi Yitzchok Fuchs.

Rabbi Yusewitz reminded them of the short hachana farbrengen they had before beginning the tefilla with their new siddurim in Gan Eden Hatachton, and expressed a heartfelt tefilla that all their tefillos should be niskabel, and they should grow chassidishe ovdei Hashem.

The children then received Birkas Kohanim from the menahel hamosdos Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hakohen Hendel followed by singing and dancing. Each boy then received their very own siddur and a piece of a specially made cake from their melamed.

The talmidim came out of the event eagerly looking forward to a lifelong journey of limud haTorah with the strong foundations of yiras Shamayim.

Special yasher koach for all logistics: Rabbi Yossi Overlander, Rabbi Avrohom Rainitz, Rabbi Shlomi and Mrs. R. Frishman, and Mrs. C. M. Pevsner
