The Seymour J. Abrams Cheder Lubavitch Hebrew Day School of Chicago began their school year on Tuesday, with face masks, temperature checks, and plexiglass panels in front of the teachers.
The Seymour J. Abrams Cheder Lubavitch Hebrew Day School of Chicago began their school year on Tuesday. Students and teachers were required to put on a face mask before entering the building, and have their temperature taken. Plexiglass panels were installed in front of each teacher’s desk as well.
Private schools in Illinois are allowed to reopen with health safeguards in place. Public schools, however, remain closed for the fall, with only virtual classes taking place.
