Chicago Bochurim Join Seder Nigunim for Its Fourth Volume
The Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago hosted a special Seder Nigunim with chazan Aryeh Leib Hurwitz, recorded for the forthcoming fourth album in the acclaimed series.
Seder Nigunim has released two new tracks recorded with the bochurim of Ohr Eliyahu Lubavitch Mesivta of Chicago, bringing the yeshiva into the fourth volume of the popular nigunim series.
The recordings feature chazan Aryeh Leib Hurwitz together with the Mesivta, under the musical direction of producer and arranger Bentzi Marcus.
The recordings pair Hurwitz’s vocals with the Mesivta choir in polished arrangements that stay faithful to the original nusach and character of each nigun.
The two nigunim released so far are Nigun Hisvaadus and Nigun L’Shabbos V’Yom Tov (Varka), with the rest of the album set to follow in the coming weeks.
The new releases are now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and 24Six.
The recordings were sponsored by the Ralla Klepak Foundation for Education in the Performing Arts.
