Chabad’s Sukkah Mobile in Tamarac, Florida, was equipped with a ramp to accommodate people of all ages and abilities, as shluchim shared the mitzvos of Sukkos with many grateful residents.
“Wow! I haven’t been in a Sukkah for over 40 years!”
“I remember decorating our Sukkah back at home.”
“I’ve been participating in the Lulav and Esrog over zoom until today, thank you for making it live.”
These were just some of the comments on Chabad of Tamarac’s amazing Sukkah Mobile. As always, the Sukkah Mobile was there to accommodate everyone’s needs with a ramp for the elderly, those with walkers and even wheelchair bound.
The smiles of joy radiating on the peoples faces in nursing homes, businesses, senior centers and shopping malls were simply priceless!
Chabad of Tamarac’s Sukkah Mobile was host to young and old as exemplified by a young woman, Leor, who was joined by her father and 102 years “young” grandfather Ahron S.
When Mr. Efrayim B. was wheeled onto the Sukkah Mobile he breezed through the brochos for the lulav. It brought back memories of his yeshivah Days at “Bedford and Dean” in the early 50s where he actually remembered Rabbi Engel’s father as a fellow student.
