Hundreds of anash and bochurim from across Eretz Yisroel gathered at the Rambam’s kever in Tveriah for the Central Siyum celebrating the 42nd conclusion of study of the Rambam’s magnum opus, the Mishneh Torah.
The Siyum at the Rambam’s kever is held each year in accordance with the directive of the Rebbe, who founded the daily cycle of study.
Among those addressing the Siyum were Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Wilshansky, Rosh Yeshiva of Tzfas Yeshiva, Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, Rov of the Chabad community in Tzfas, Rabbi Yosef Kramer, Head Shliach to Tveriah, Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, Head Shliach to Tzfas and others. Participating was Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Aharonov, chairman of Tzach in Eretz Yisroel.
Following the Siyum, the participants broke into a joyous dance, celebrating the conclusion of one cycle of study and the immediate start of the next.
