The girls of Camp Emunah’s BJJ Teen Camp enjoyed uplifting and amazing shabbaton reunion in the Catskills on Shabbos Bereishis, packed with activities to nourish the body and soul.
As the famous Chassidic aphorism goes “the way Shabbos Bereishis goes so goes the rest of the year”. For the girls of Camp Emunah’s BJJ Teen Camp, Shabbos Bereishis was the date for the most uplifting and amazing shabbaton reunion in the Catskills last weekend.
The Shabbos was filled with inspiration and chayus, with a farbrengen, camaraderie and much fun. This epic weekend, packed with activities to nourish the body and soul, reached its apex by the girls reciting over 10,000 kapitilach of Tehillim for Shabbos Mevorchim.
This weekend inspired the girls to take the lesson of our holy Rebbe of “V’Yakov Halach Ledarko” to heart. To take all the chayus and simcha from the month of Tishrei and the Shabbaton and infuse it into their daily life.
“We are tremendously grateful to the organizers and the staff of BJJ Teen camp for making this shabbaton possible” the directors of Camp Emunah said.
