Before Selichos, Stand Behind 1,500 Bochurim

As Anash prepare to gather for Selichos on Motzoei Shabbos, the Vaad Hatmimim is asking the community to begin these days with an act of tzedakah for the 1,500 Bochurim now spending Tishrei by the Rebbe.

They have come from Yeshivos around the world for a month unlike any other. They are going to the Ohel, davening in 770, learning during organized Sedorim and joining Farbrengens with Mashpiim who help them prepare for the days ahead.

Behind every part of that experience stands the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.

The Vaad arranges accommodations and three daily meals, prepares Kovtzei Limud, supervises Sedorim, organizes transportation to the Ohel and brings in Mashpiim for programs and Farbrengens. Night after night, the work continues so that each Bochur can focus on why he came: to spend Tishrei in the Rebbe’s Daled Amos and make the most of these precious weeks.

A bed, a hot meal and an organized schedule may seem like practical details. Together, they give a Bochur the stability and structure he needs to immerse himself in the learning, davening, Farbrengens and atmosphere of Tishrei.

This is how the Vaad stands behind the Rebbe’s Bochurim during Tishrei. It is part of the same commitment to their learning, Hiskashrus and wellbeing that guides the Vaad throughout the year.

Making this possible for 1,500 Bochurim carries an enormous cost. Every accommodation, meal, bus, booklet and Farbrengen must be arranged and paid for.

On Motzoei Shabbos Selichos, as we begin turning our attention toward the Yomim Noraim, please take a moment to stand behind the Bochurim with a meaningful contribution.

Your donation will help the Vaad cover the costs of Tishrei and give each Bochur the opportunity to experience a month of Hiskashrus and Chassidishkeit that will remain with him throughout the year.

Help the Vaad keep standing behind them.
