On Sunday morning, at approximately 10 a.m. 18 hours after the deadline for submission and 90 minutes after the ceasefire was supposed to begin, Hamas provided the names of the three hostages scheduled to be released that day at around 4 p.m.

The list included three female hostages: Doron Steinbrecher, Emily Damari, and Romi Gonen.

Emily Damari, 28, a UK-Israeli citizen, and Doron Steinbrecher, 32, were abducted from their homes in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Damari was shot during the abduction and was seriously wounded.

Romi Gonen, 24, was abducted from the Nova music festival. She was shot in the hand and, according to a hostage released in November, was alive but required medical attention to her hand, which she now received.

As stipulated in the agreement, Hamas was required to submit the names of the hostages 24 hours in advance. However, the list, due on Shabbos at 4 p.m., was not delivered until Sunday morning, delaying the process. In response, the IDF carried out airstrikes on Hamas targets in northern and central Gaza when the list was not received by 8:30 a.m. Gaza reports stated that five terrorists were killed and about 20 others were injured in the strikes.

Despite these delays, residents of northern Gaza and Rafah began returning to their homes, and footage from Gaza showed Hamas “police” deployed in the area. Video footage showed a car with Hamas members parading through the streets minutes before the ceasefire began. Footage captured moments later showed the remains of the car following an IDF strike.

The hostages were returned through the Re’im crossing, located near the Nova music festival site where they had been kidnapped.

The Red Cross confirmed that one of the hostages had a hand injury and received immediate treatment on-site. IDF Special Forces and Shabak units were stationed in Gaza and near the transfer point, utilizing advanced methods to ensure the convoy’s safety.

The IDF said in a statement: The 3 released hostages are currently being transferred to IDF and ISA forces in Gaza. They are accompanied by IDF and ISA special forces upon their return to Israeli terrority, where they will undergo an initial medical assessment.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: The 3 released hostages have arrived at the initial reception point in southern Israel, where they will be reunited with their mothers. IDF officers from the Manpower Directorate and IDF medical officials are accompanying the released hostages during an initial medical assessment. IDF representatives are accompanying their families at the hospital and updating them with the latest available information.

In a shocking report by Amit Segal Channel 12, he revealed that “there are several hostages who will be released in the current round, who Israel knew for all the past few months where they were and what their situation was, who were prepared to rescue them without a deal, and in the end it didn’t work.”
