Annual Monsey Chanukah Event Set to be Largest Yet

The shluchim of Mesivta Lubavitch of Monsey are planning this year’s Chanukah event to be the greatest yet, with a car-menorah parade and grand Menorah Lighting on the first night of Chanukah.

For many years it has been a Monsey tradition to light up the city with a grand Menorah parade, and this year will be no different!

The parade is set to be the largest yet, with mitzvah tanks and LED menorahs, along with an LED truck with a Rebbe video wishing all a happy Chanukah. There will also be car-menorah rentals for the parade.

The parade will depart from the Tzemach Tzedek shul and make its way to the Palisades Mall for a grand Menorah lighting, followed by a performance by contortionist Jared Rydelek. There will be donuts and pekelach for all, making this year’s pirsumei nisa the greatest yet!

The parade will take place on the first night of Chanukah, Sunday, Nov 28. Cars will line up at 5:45 pm at the Tzemach Tzedek shul at 2 Langeries Drive (enter through Crestview), and will pull out at 6:15 pm.

The organizers thank their sponsors at MedRite walk-in clinic, as well as Bingo and Evergreen Kosher supermarket, for helping to make this event a reality.
