An 8-year-old Chabad girl was seriously injured after being hit by a commercial truck in Beitar Illit while walking to school on Thursday morning.
An 8-year-old Chabad girl was seriously injured after being hit by a commercial truck in Beitar Illit on Thursday morning.
According to witnesses, it is a commercial vehicle driven by an Arab who was driving recklessly. The girl, who was on the way to school, was apparently hit as she was crossing at the crosswalk.
Paramedics who were called to the scene administered emergency medical aid and evacuated her to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition, sedated and ventilated.
Israel Police launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
