770 Bochurim Publish Expanded Volume of Chidushei Torah

Hundreds of pages of Chidushei Torah written by 770 bochurim were published this week in a kovetz in honor of Yud Shevat – 75 years, including essays by 770 hanhala Rabbi Zalman Labkowski, Rabbi Avraham Osdoba, and others.

Hundreds of pages of Chidushei Torah written by 770 bochurim were published this week in a kovetz in honor of Yud Shevat – 75 years.

As the bochurim planned how to prepare for Yud Shevat, knowing the Rebbe’s constant urging for bochurim to add in their efforts of learning, this idea was conceived.

The kovetz was produced with the encouragement of the Hanhala, who also contributed in writing to the kovetz, including Rabbi Avraham Osdoba and Rabbi Zalman Labkowski as well as other members of the Hanhala.

Comprised of Hearos on a variety of topics such as Halacha, Chassidus, and Inyanei Moshiach Ugeulah, the kovetz also includes many Hearos on Maseches Kesubos, which is being learned this year in Lubavitcher Yeshivos, as well as commentary on the Maamarim of Baasi L’gani being studied this year.

The bochurim are confident that this initiative, one of the many honoring Yud Shevat, gives the Rebbe much pride, and hope to continue to produce such Kovtzim throughout the year.
