Crown Heights Residents Turn Out For Blood Drive

Dozens of Crown Heights residents showed up Thursday to donate blood and help their fellow Jews in a community-wide blood drive organized by Ahavas Chessed at Lubavitch Yeshiva.

Dozens of Crown Heights residents turned up to donate blood at Lubavitch on Thursday. The blood drive, arranged by Ahavas Chessed, was meant to fill the New York blood banks which are nearing empty.

The drive was organized New York Blood Center in conjunction with Ahavas Chessed and the COVID Plasma Initiative, an organization dedicated to coordinating plasma drives in frum communities throughout the Tri-States.
