100 Chassidus Roshei Kollel Gather for Major Conference

More than 100 roshei kollelim and rebbes from across Eretz Yisroel gathered for the “Nishmasa D’Oraisa” conference of the Tiferes Shimshon – Maayanei Yisroel network, which combines the study of Nigleh and Chassidus in communities throughout Eretz Yisroel and the United States.

More than 100 roshei kollelim from across Eretz Yisroel gathered on Sunday, 22 Sivan, for the “Nishmasa D’Oraisa” conference of the Tiferes Shimshon – Maayanei Yisroel network, which combines the study of Nigleh and Chassidus in communities throughout Eretz Yisroel and the United States.

The gathering brought together a distinguished array of admorim, rabbonim, mashpi’im, and community leaders representing a broad spectrum of Torah communities.

Among those participating were the chief mashpia, Reb Zalman Gopin; Reb Chaim Sholom Deitsch; the Boyaner Rebbe; the Belz-Machnovka Rebbe; Rabbi Shmuel Zalman Spitz, son-in-law of the Dushinsky Rebbe; Rabbi Mordechai Leifer, son of the Bishtena Rebbe; Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Wolberg; Rabbi Yekusiel Farkash; and Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Rav of the Kosel.

Also in attendance were Rabbi Mendel Foigel, Rosh HaKollelim, Rabbi Dovid Fisher, donor of the kolelim, and Rabbi Yehoshua Rosenbaum, Rosh Yeshivas Hamaor ShebaTorah.

Representing the Maayanei Yisroel communities were Rabbi Yeshaya Yosef Beck of Beit Shemesh, Rabbi Yechezkel Krishevsky of Yerushalayim, Rabbi Meir Deutsch of Beitar Illit, Rabbi Yehoshua Greenfeld of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Yeshaya Moshe Genzler of Haifa, and Rabbi Elimelech Weissboim of Ramat Beit Shemesh Daled.

Among the roshei kollelim were Rabbi Mordechai Orgal, who heads the Kollel for Hilchos Taharah, Rabbi Yisroel Fisher, who leads the Even HaEzer Kollel, Rabbi Amram Fisher, who heads the Choshen Mishpat Kollel, Rabbi Elazar Yonah Brender of Machnovka, and Rabbi Shlomo Wainstock of Boyan.

Participating shluchim and mashpi’im included Rabbi Mendy Brickman, shliach in Arnona, Rabbi Zalman Deitsch, shliach in Perm, Russia, Rabbi Pinchas Wollach, mashpia of the Lev Ladaas organization, and Rabbi Zalman Kaplan, Rosh Yeshiva of Tzirei Hashluchim in Tzfas.

The gathering was also attended by the directors of the Maayanei Yisroel Center, Rabbi Aharon HaKohen Gross and Rabbi Mordechai Yoel Schwartz; Rabbi Sholom Shisha, CEO of the Dushinsky institutions; Rabbi Binyamin Hershler, CEO of the Boyan institutions; Rabbi Ketriel Shmtov, director of Yeshivas Maayanos; Rabbi Yudel Markowitz, director of Yeshivas Hamaor ShebaTorah; Rabbi Mordechai Malik, chairman of the Jerusalem Building Fund; and Rabbi Moshe Karasik, director of the Tiferes Zekeinim Levi Yitzchok kollelim.

Also participating were the directors of the Maayanei Yisroel branches, batei medrash, and communities throughout Eretz Yisroel.

Participants discussed the continued growth of the network’s learning programs and its unique emphasis on combining Nigleh and Chassidus within a structured framework of Torah study.

The event highlighted the ongoing expansion of the Maayanei Yisroel network and its efforts to strengthen Torah learning and Chassidus among thousands of participants throughout Eretz Yisroel and beyond.
