100 Voices, One Stage: Historic Chabad Niggun Experience
Join Live at 1:00 PM ET: Billed as the world’s largest Chabad niggun program, renowned conductor and composer Rafi Biton will lead more than one hundred singers and musicians in innovative performances of authentic Chabad niggunim, all sharing one stage.
Thousands of Chabad Chassidim from across Eretz Yisroel, together with the Rebbe’s shluchim and supporters, are currently participating in the central preparation event for Gimmel Tammuz at the Binyanei HaUma Convention Center in Jerusalem. The gathering is being led by prominent rabbonim, mashpi’im, and shluchim from Eretz Yisroel and around the world.
The Veharikosi event, organized by Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, brings together Chassidim, shluchim, and friends of Chabad for an inspiring evening of preparation ahead of Gimmel Tammuz.
The program opened with a series of unique exhibitions highlighting the Rebbe’s teachings, Torah, and far-reaching impact. Among them is a special exhibit exploring the Rebbe’s connection to the Kosel, along with an interactive presentation on the subject.
At the heart of the event, which is being broadcast live, is a special musical production billed as the world’s largest Chabad niggun program. Renowned conductor and composer Rafi Biton is leading more than one hundred singers and musicians in innovative performances of authentic Chabad niggunim, all sharing one stage.
Following the main gathering at Binyanei HaUma, buses will be available to transport participants to the Kosel Plaza for a communal prayer service. The program there will include representatives of the shluchim and a special presentation of Niggunim Mechuvanim.
At the same time, participants will be given access to the tunnels and underground chambers beneath the main Kosel prayer plaza, areas that are generally not open to the public.
Dozens of Chabad shluchim who serve Jewish communities around the world traveled especially to Eretz Yisroel to participate in the event. During the days surrounding the gathering, they will also visit Chabad educational institutions throughout the country and take part in farbrengens and other programs.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Aharonov, Chairman of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad, said:
“We organized a unique event for the family of Chassidim, shluchim, and supporters to strengthen their connection with the Rebbe in preparation for the great day of Gimmel Tammuz, featuring a remarkable and unprecedented program.
“During the gathering, we will fulfill the Rebbe’s directive from a sichah delivered on 26 Nissan 5751, in which the Rebbe emphasized the need to thank Hashem for the miracles and wonders He performs, ‘to the point that one is not embarrassed to go out and dance because of the openly revealed miracles.’
“After the open miracles we have witnessed over the past year, we will carry out the Rebbe’s directive through a Chassidic farbrengen, song, and joyous celebration, culminating in actual dancing. We pray that, as the Rebbe stated in that famous sichah, ‘from the joy and singing over the present revealed miracles, we will immediately come to sing a new song of thanks for our redemption,’ with the true and complete Geulah, when the greatest miracles and wonders of all will be revealed.”
