Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto – Where Yeshiva Becomes Life

People often talk about Yeshiva in terms of nostalgia — the farbrengens, the unscripted days, that one shiur that entirely broke the mold. But for an alumnus of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto, those moments were more than just quirks of the schedule. They were life.

People often talk about Yeshiva in terms of nostalgia — the farbrengens, the unscripted days, that one shiur that entirely broke the mold.

But for an alumnus of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto, those moments were more than just quirks of the schedule. They were life.

Bochurim are always searching for defining moments: moments of growth, moments of failure, moments of profound change. But what happens between those moments defies definition. It is the raw, undeniable feeling of: “This is it. This is where I am made.”

With the incredible lineup of staff the Yeshiva boasts, the atmosphere has always been inherently empowering. But it’s the intangibles — the things that don’t have an address or a time slot on a schedule — that truly mattered.

Every YLT alumnus knows the shturem that came with a Shabbos Noach farbrengen, or the day after Purim when Rabbi Wagner had to let the Yom Tov “really sink in.” We remember the maggidei shiurim walking in at 1:00 AM on a Leil Shishi to farbreng, without a care in the world for the hour. Or the late-night trips to a mashpia’s house that made Yeshiva feel like a home rather than a routine.

The pilpulim that were demanded from the bochurim, the dancing that brought a smile to the entire city — these memories weren’t just framed and left on a wall. They are alive and breathing in every single alumnus.

Now, on the cusp of our 30th year, we are reaching out to YOU to become a Shutaf — a partner in this growth.

Life isn’t just built; it is breathed. Together, we can breathe new life into the next generation.

This year, תשפ״ו shares the same letters as שותף. Please become a shutaf and partner with us in this tremendous moisad chinuch as we enter the final zmanim of the Yeshiva’s 29th year and prepare to begin our 30th.

Beezras Hashem, the Yeshiva has launched our Shutaf campaign to help raise $540,000. Your partnership will be a direct shutfus in the amazing impact the Yeshiva is having: being a shutaf in building bochurim in their limud haTorah; being a shutaf in the chayus, mentorship, and cultivation of the Chayalei Beis Dovid.

Become a shutaf in the tremendous impact the bochurim are having on Yidden throughout Toronto through the tahaluchos and hafatzas hamaayanos they carry out each week.

Become a shutaf in the mivtzoim and spreading of Yiddishkeit. Hundreds of Yidden are putting on tefillin weekly, learning Torah, participating in mivtza mezuzah, Neshek, Ois B’Sefer Torah, and more. The ripple effects of these activities are seen and heard in real time in a bustling city filled with Yidden.

Be a shutaf in the tremendous future these bochurim are developing into. The thousands of Yidden already inspired by the first 30 years of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto are a testament to what your shutfus can accomplish. Please help make Rabbi Wagner’s vision a reality.

Please join us as we work to usher in the end of this long and difficult galus with the speedy arrival of Moshiach, when Rabbi Wagner will rejoin the Yeshiva once again and the Rebbe will give a yasher koach to all those who participated in the tremendous chinuch of the Chayalei Beis Dovid.

May we be zoiche to experience this immediately, without any further delay.
