“Ohr Hachasidus” is introducing an innovative program, inviting individuals to partner and personally undertake the exclusive sponsorship of distributing the Rebbe’s teachings to a designated Shul or Yeshiva.
From the early years of the Chabad movement, the Rebbe emphasized the crucial role of bochurim and Yungerleit venturing out to various Shuls to disseminate the teachings of Chassidus. The Rebbe underscored that this undertaking is pivotal in ushering in the arrival of Moshiach, as it depends on Hafotas Hama’ayanos Chutzah — the widespread dissemination of Chassidic teachings beyond the normal confines.
On Shavuous 5717, the Rebbe elaborated, “This is accomplished not by waiting for those who are ‘outward’ and ‘outside’ to come to the wellsprings, but by actively spreading forth the wellsprings of Judaism and Chassidus outward, going and disseminating the wellsprings over there. This path of service, exemplified by Aharon HaKohen, emphasized being a ‘lover of peace’ and drawing others close to the Torah”.
Now, almost 30 years since Gimmel Tammuz, the teachings of the Rebbe have reached global proportions. However, there remain tens of thousands of Jews in the Olam Hatorah who have yet to experience the life changing warmth and impact of the Rebbe’s teachings.

“Ohr Hachasidus” is introducing an innovative program, inviting individuals to partner and personally undertake the exclusive sponsorship of distributing the Rebbe’s teachings to a designated Shul or Yeshiva in neighborhoods across New York or throughout the United States for an entire year. These shuls will receive the Rebbe’s teachings each week through the “Likras Shabbos” booklets which will prominently showcase a dedication from the sponsor and/or their family.
The goal is ambitious — to enlist three thousand Anash sponsors, reaching three hundred thousand new people. Join us in this collective effort, uniting to bring about the arrival of Moshiach as we actively spread the light of Chassidus far and wide.
