After launching a campaign to get 500 children signed up within 24 hours, Tzivos Hashem quickly reached signed up 250 chayolim, for a total of 4757, over 95% of their goal.

“Each year thousands of children join the international Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos program, with last year over 3,500 children joining,” Tzivos Hashem director Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum told Anash.org. “This year we set have set our goals even higher with the ambitious goal of 5,000 chayolim.”

Many schools have reporter large increases in the number of sign ups, and they aren’t finished yet. The goal is to get another 250 chayolim in the next 12 hours, reaching the goal of 5,000 participants in total.

“Most schools at this point have 70% to 100% of their children registered for the childon, huge numbers, especially considering the different format of the chidon this past year,” Rabbi Weinbaum said.

Anash.org is encouraging all its readers to help this very important cause. Reach out to family, friends and acquaintances, and make sure that their children are enrolled in this opportunity of a lifetime.

In these last 12 hours let’s do all we can to spread the word. Together we can do this.
