In response to questions about the course for newly married couples on Shalom Bayis, Mikvah.org addresses the concerns and notes the rabbinic approval for the course. The course, which will run over 6 Sunday evenings, begins tonight, 12 Teves.
Following the announcement on Anash.org about Mikvah.org’s course for newly married couples on Shalom Bayis, some have raised questions about it. We would like to take this opportunity to address their questions.
Mikvah.org, as the Rebbe’s organization for Taharas Hamishpacha, has and always will consult with our Rabbonim for all of our projects. The project of the Shana Rishona course has the haskama of Rabbi Sholom Ber Chaikin, Rabbi Yosef Braun, and Rabbi Boruch Hertz, who have all researched all the details of the course.
To allay some of the concerns raised, it is worthwhile to note:
A. This course is not mixed. Couples taking the course cannot see or hear each other – they are on Zoom online and can only see the presenter.
B. The speakers chosen are experts in their fields and our Rabbonim have determined that is what is best for the couple to hear together as a team.
C. This course is preemptive medicine for the strong need in our community for hadracha for every couple from both Rabbonim and Mashpios. While ideally this would be done for every couple individually, doing it this way allows many couples to access these experts.
D. At the same time that our Rabbonim have approved this course for our community, each couple can and should always check with their mashpia and Rav whether any program is good for them specifically.

The course begins TONIGHT on Sunday, 12 Teves 5785, at 8:30 PM ET.
This carefully curated program features esteemed Rabbonim and veteran Kallah teachers, offering invaluable insights to smooth the transition and to strengthen the foundation of a successful marriage, with Hadracha rooted in Torah and Chassidus.
