With thousands of guests expected to gather at 770 Eastern Parkway this Shabbos for Yud Shevat, including Bochurim from over 50 yeshivos, a large “Tishrei Tent” will be set up to help accommodate the overflow crowd.
The tent will be put up on the service lane outside 770 beginning Thursday and will remain in place through Sunday, providing much-needed space for davening and farbrengens throughout the weekend.
This initiative, organized by the gaboim of 770 with the help of Reb Yitzy Vail, will ensure that both the large influx of visitors and the thousands of locals can celebrate Yud Shvat at 770 in a comfortable and accommodating setting.
Those who wish to contribute toward the costs of the tent and related expenses can do so at 770shul.org.
This is very exciting news. Thank you to Gaboim and organizers!
Hopefully we can have tents for many more overcrowded Shabosim, such as Shabbos Kinus Hashluchim etc.
