Thousands of shluchim traveled to the Rebbe’s Ohel during the Kinus Hashluchim weekend, utilizing the expanded and subsidized bus service offered by a group of yungeleit.

The subsidized buses were made possible thanks to the generous support of Rabbi Benzi Lipsker of the “Meomim Foundation”, and an anonymous donor in memory of Menachem Mendel ben Rabbi Baruch who took it upon themselves to subsidize the buses for the benefit of the shluchim.

The project was a private endeavor of a member of the Crown Heights community who saw the need for the Shluchim and community to have constant and comfortable access between 770 and the Ohel.

One shliach shared that “In previous years, we would stand in the bitter cold for hours to find a ride to the Ohel. This year, thanks to the buses, we easily reached the Ohel both without waiting and without paying a high price.

The buses were coordinated by bustoohel.com, which provides subsidized buses weekly from Crown Heights to the Ohel.

Throughout the year, the subsidized buses depart twice a day, at 9:00am and 7:00pm from the Dreidel, and return at 10:45am and 8:45pm.
