Thousands of English Shiurim Added to the ‘Chassidus App’

As 5787 begins, the Chassidus App is rolling out one of its largest expansions since launch, making thousands of additional English-language shiurim available to users worldwide.

A significant portion of the new material comes through Seder Dach 770, which has generously made its extensive collection available for inclusion, alongside material from a number of other sources.

The collection includes shiurim from prominent mashpiim and maggidei shiurim, including Rabbi Fishel Oster, Rabbi Leibel Altein, Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan and Rabbi Moshe Gourarie, among many others.

The shiurim cover maamorim of the Rabbeim, Hemshechim of the Rebbe Rashab, Inyono D’Yoma, and many other areas of Chassidus, giving users more options to establish or strengthen a regular seder in Chassidus as the new year begins.

Much valuable Chassidus remains scattered across websites, Google Drives, archives, and personal collections. The app aims to bring these recordings together and make it simple to find a shiur on a particular maamar, sefer or subject.

Niggunim Added to the App

The expansion also includes a growing Niggunim collection.

Albums by Zalman Goldstein, whose recordings of Chabad niggunim have been enjoyed for decades, are now being added. His catalog includes Chabad Classics, Nonstop Chabad, My First Niggunim and A Niggun Is Forever.

The expansion continues the work that began with Heichal Menachem’s Chassidus on the Telephone, through which Reb Yoel Kahn and other mashpiim recorded hundreds of hours of Chassidus. The app brings that concept into the digital era, combining those archives with newly available material.

Mashpiim, maggidei shiurim, mosdos, and individuals with Chassidus recordings are invited to submit material for possible inclusion. Collections can be sent to [email protected].

The next stage of the project will include a significant expansion of Hebrew shiurim.
