An image of a pre-Rosh Hashanah card written by the Frierdiker Rebbe to the bochurim learning in Lubavitch is being published for the first time, exclusively on Anash.org.

The card, written when the Frierdiker Rebbe was the menahel of Tomchei Tmimim, implores the bochurim to set a place for all their tefillos of Rosh Hashana, and to daven word-for-word from inside a siddur. It also urges them to utilize the rest of Rosh Hashana to say Tehillim and to learn from those who are on a higher spiritual level.

The text of the card was published in the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Igros Kodesh letter 3,747, and Rabbi Berel Levin wrote in a footnote that he estimates that it was written in 5674 or 5675.

The photo of the card is being published for the first time, לזכות שמעון אהרן בן קריינא הכהן ומשפחתו לכתיבה וחתימה טובה שנה טובה ומתוקה.
